Unfortunately, the device is disrupting the universe, and NERD Matilda Wheezer Choi is sent to track Gertie down. Gertie's ultimate goal is to make a national cheerleading squad, which leads to encounters with distinctly unnerdlike characters and ultimately a maniacal monster named Screwball.
